We invite you to learn more about the Dominican culture and the Dominican Cacao in Choco Museum Punta Cana! The Tchocolatl, or chocolate, as the first Spanish discoverers called it, was a considered drink of gods, already known by the Mayas around the fourth century BC. The Aztecs believed that the seeds of cacao were Quetzalcoatl, the Personification of the god of wisdom and had so much value that made him serve as currency of exchange.

Located on the beautiful beach of Bavaro, you will have the opportunity to discover our pirate recipes during the manufacture of rum. Then we visit the tobacco factory, where is the manufacturing process through which the tobacco passes before it is ready to be consumed.

The route consists of the process of selecting the leaves that are used in the production of cigars, the waste of the leaf, the drying room, and the entire process of making the cigar, followed by the aging process. Cigarettes once resting for an indefinite period or according to the corresponding production line.
