Mistura is the largest international food fair in Latin America, which is held annually since 2008 in Lima – Peru to host thousands of visitors each year who delight in the Peruvian flavors. It is a fair where tradition, creativity, identity and diversity of Peru is held. This fair is organized by the Peruvian Society of Gastronomy (Apega), founded by chef Gaston Acurio. This eighth edition will be from 02 to 11 September on the Costa Verde in Magdalena del Mar, Lima beach circuit and this year will feature the participation of invited countries such as Mexico, Morocco and India.

ITINERARy

Day 01: Lima.

Arrival in Lima, assistance and transfer to hotel.

Accommodation in Lima.

Food: None.

Day 02: Lima – City Tour Colonial & Modern – Dinner Show.

In the morning scroll through the most outstanding places in the city of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Know the colonial Lima visiting traditional historic center, appreciate the beauty of the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, City Hall, the imposing cathedral and tour the Convent and Church of San Francisco, one of the most important seventeenth century and where are underground crypts known as “Catacombs”.

Note the modernity of the city while making a tour of the residential and financial district of San Isidro and finally get an unparalleled view of the Pacific Ocean from the tourist district of Miraflores. Return to hotel and lunch on your own.

At dusk delight your taste buds and indulge your senses in a magnificent dinner show in one of the best tourist restaurants in Lima; you will enjoy our exquisite cuisine in a varied buffet that includes the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine, all accompanied by a folkloric show representing colorful cultural expression and tradition of the coast, mountains and jungle of Peru.

Day 03: Lima – Gastronomic Tour.

This day make a fun journey in which you can discover the secrets of Peruvian cuisine. We begin our adventure knowing a typical “Peruvian market,” where are exhibited and sold much of the select inputs that are part of the most delicious Peruvian dishes and desserts; observe only fruits in the world as cherimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto or pacae and be amazed by the wide variety of fruits of our sea, considered one of the richest in the world.

Later, we visit an upscale restaurant, a place where you can prepare your own “Pisco Sour” and the famous “Ceviche”, then savor a delicious lunch which includes the most representative dishes of our cuisine. Return to hotel and rest of the day to activities of self-interest.
